David Splane
David Splane is a Witness of Jehovah and a member of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1999
David Splane became a member of the Governing Body from Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1999. Together with Samuel F. Herd, Stephen Lett and Guy Pierce. The new members of the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses were announced at the Annual Meeting of the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania on Saturday, October 2nd, 1999.
David Splane started a special type of full-time service of Jehovah’s Witnesses (pioneering) in September 1963. David Splane visited the 42nd class of Gilead from Jehovah’s Witnesses. Which was, at that time, a special school for missionaries. David Splane served as a missionary in Senegal, Africa. After that David Splane served for 19 years in the circuit work in Canada.
Since 1990 David Splane and his wife Linda have been at Bethel in the United States of America. Bethel is called from Jehovah’s Witnesses a home for Jehovah’s Witnesses, which serve full-time for special services. For example like printing literature of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Or organizing the work of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
David Splane worked in the Service and Writing departments. 1998 David Splane became a helper to the Writing Committee from Jehovah’s Witnesses.
