You can use the JW.org Skill also in other languages. If the content is available.
For example you can play original songs in the languages, which are available.
For example you can say: “Alexa, play original songs in Korean from JW.org.”
Playing audio content in a different language has some limitations. For example you cannot request the daily text in many languages. Because the daily text is read by Alexa. And Alexa can read only the languages of your device. But if you have 2 languages on your device, you can play both languages.
Try this if one command does not work
If one of these commands does not work, try to speak very clear and slowly. But without any pause. And use the exact command. Because you may easily forget the exact command, you can print this page or the page on JW.org with the commands for the JW.org Skill for Amazon Alexa.
And if you change the language for reading the daily text (if your device is supporting it) you can add the word “please” at the end of the command. This works well for example in English and German. So, you can say (in German):
„Alexa, lies den Tagestext von JW.org, bitte“. Instead of only „Alexa, lies den Tagestext von JW.org“.
Maybe this can be helpful, if the change of language does not work immediately. Maybe because of the one additional word, it is easier to recognize the command in a different language for Amazon Alexa.
