Jehovah is my helper
Does Jehovah hear prayers? What must we do to make Jehovah hear our prayers? And how quickly does Jehovah help when we pray to him?
In God’s Word, the Bible, we learn that Jehovah God supports people who put his principles first. We can even build a friendship with him if we follow Jehovah’s guidance. Then we can say with confidence that Jehovah is our helper. And we therefore need not be afraid (see the Bible, Hebrews 13 verse 6).
The word translated as helper in Hebrews 13 verse 6 describes someone who immediately runs when he hears a cry for help.
Let’s imagine that with Jehovah. That is why we can trust that Jehovah will help his friends immediately when they need him.
Jehovah also guides his friends. And gives them many good things now and in the future.
And what happens when a friend of God calls out to Jehovah for help?
Jehovah is a God who responds quickly to calls for help
Jehovah is a God who is always available to his friends. In his word he assures us in the Bible book of Isaiah in chapter 30 verse 19 that he will definitely have mercy when we call on him for help. And he would answer us as soon as he hears our voice.
Jehovah listens carefully to us when we pray to him. And responds quickly to calls for help. So Jehovah really wants to be there for us when we need him.
Jehovah is a God who helps his friends immediately. He literally rushes to help in times of need.
