Jehovah God can help you to cope with worries and problems
God can give us comfort. Support us lovingly. Give us inner peace. Help us with our problems.
Jehovah God can give us inner peace
The Bible book of Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 says that we should not be anxious about anything. But in everything by prayer and supplication together with thanksgiving let God know what our requests are. Then the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard our hearts and our minds through Christ Jesus.
So Jehovah God wants us to turn to him in prayer. And to tell him our requests.
Jehovah God can give us comfort
The Bible book of Romans chapter 15 verse 4 states that everything that was written in the past was written for our guidance. So that through our endurance and through the comfort of the Scriptures we can have hope.
So how does Jehovah comfort us? One way is through his words. Those recorded in the Bible. For example, his prophecies about the future. In these we learn that we can live in the nearby future forever in good health and happiness. This is a comfort when we have a chronic, ongoing illness.
How can Jehovah help us to get all the necessities of life?
Jesus Christ said that if we put God’s Kingdom and God’s righteous standards first, we would receive the necessities of life, such as clothing and food. (The Bible, Matthew 6: 25-33)
Jehovah God is all-powerful and can provide everything we need through his active force, his Holy Spirit. However, one prerequisite is that we put God’s righteous standards and God’s Kingdom first.
Jehovah God gives good friends
The Bible book of Proverbs says that a true friend always shows love. And is a brother who is born for times of distress (Proverbs 17:17). In today’s difficult times, God gives good friends to those who put God’s standards first. Which can help you. Even in times of distress.
This is what Jehovah’s Witnesses experience again and again. For example, Jehovah’s Witnesses are there for their fellow believers when emergencies such as natural disasters occur. So much so that this sets them apart from other religions.
In weekly meetings, Jehovah’s Witnesses have the opportunity to encourage one another. To support one another with kind words.
You are welcome to try this out and see how well these weekly meetings can affect you personally. Not only the good spiritual food that is there, but also the wonderful fellowship. With people who mean well.
