Why is it good to attend the Memorial of Jesus Christ’s death?
By attending the Memorial of Jesus Christ’s death, you can express your gratitude and appreciation for what Jehovah God and Jesus Christ have done for us.
What Jesus and Jehovah God have done for us, makes eternal life possible.
This is an important part of what makes up the faith of every true Christian or Jehovah’s Witness. And this hope of eternal life also contributes to the joy and confidence of every Jehovah’s Witness (Christian).
Without the voluntary sacrificial death of Jesus, there would be no prospect of eternal life at all. Only through that, what Jehovah God and Jesus Christ did for us, through Jesus’ sacrificial death, we have the basis for the belief in eternal life. And this under wonderful conditions, like the Bible describes it.
Furthermore, Jesus Christ commanded the Lord’s Supper or memorial meal to be held again and again in remembrance of Him. Jesus said, according to God’s word, the Bible, that we should keep doing this in remembrance of him (Luke 22:19).
